Noted as the fattest dwarf in the Dwarf company, Bombur was commonly considered to count for two dwarves due to his girth. Bombur was often last in line in the company during the quest. In the later years of his life, Bombur had grown so large that it took several dwarves just to lift him from his couch to the dinner table.
